Alternative pedagogies and innovative educational practices during the 20th century. Ibero-American perspective
Abstract
This document presents the dossier “Alternative pedagogies and innovative educational practices during the 20th century,” a special issue published by Autoctonía. Revista de Ciencias Sociales e Historia (Journal of Social Sciences and History). This work is the result of a coordinated effort by the Doctorate in Education program at Bernardo O'Higgins University and the University of Valencia. It brings together work carried out by doctoral students and academics from different countries, who sought to analyze phenomena, share experiences, and offer proposals related to the dossier's theme. The special issue consists of eighteen articles, organized into two sections. The first focuses on the Chilean context, considering topics related to inclusion, interculturality, teacher training, digital connectivity, and unconventional educational practices. The second section brings together works with an international perspective, which considers approaches to alternative pedagogies, denied knowledge, innovation, creativity, interculturality, and democratization.
